Janele (age 4):  Daddy, Superhero Janele needs help with the buttons.  Can you help me?

Daddy:  Of course.  A smart superhero knows when to ask for help.  You are very smart.

Janele:  I know!  I am a genius like Jimmy Neutron.

Daddy:  That you are!  I bet you are even smarter.

Janele:  I bet even Jimmy Neutron doesn't know how to take apart a bathtub handle!

(This is a reference to Daddy's ignoring Janele yesterday when she went into the bathroom to replace the antique bathtub handle and associated drain.  Mommy spent some time earlier trying to replace it without success, so it had to be beyond Janele, right?  Well, it took some time for Daddy to figure out how to put that damn thing back together again...)
